The 2018-19 season will begin for many teams on Monday 3rd September and fixtures will be available from your local league Secretaries via the Handbook and /or the website. This season will of course mark the Diamond Jubilee of the founding of the MQL in Bootle in 1959. We hope to organise several events throughout the course of the year to celebrate this landmark, the first of which is the Jubilee Buzzer Quiz Tournament (details below).
We will keep you posted about all these events as information becomes available. However something you might consider is getting involved in existing competitions. The Merseyside Challenge Cup is open to all teams and takes place on 4 or 5 Wednesday evenings between October and March. Played in a group format in the early stages, the MCC is MQL’s main team competition. If you’ve not entered before or it’s a few years since you took part, why not give it a try in this Jubilee season? There are more details here.
